The Diamantina River system has finally put some water into Lake Eyre North,
the bird life has gone wild by all accounts. The Cooper Creek system is
still not expected to reach the Lake.

ABC Radio National has a description from a young woman describing watching
a dry Diamantina river bed turning into a flowing river.
