Hi there,
I am leaving for a five weeks trip with my wife on Dec 25 staring in Santiago and ending in Iguazu falls. I am seeking for advices on where to go and how much time to spend in each place. we like hiking but very moderate, we've been in alaska so Tierra del Fuego does not appeal to us (Torres del Paine is the southest we could go) . also, we found that car rental is fairly expensive ($1000 for two weeks + $1000 for return in a different location). any advices on how to cut this huge cost would be highly appreciated as well. Thanks! Asaf. |

Use public transportation and rent car only on a local basis to reach isolated places. Nothing to do with Alaska, Tierra del Fuego. Oscar |
