Decided to buck the miserable wet, cold windy weather and throw a hunk of
meat on the old Q. Tried smoking a piece of prime rib. Came out quite
tasty but I'm afraid I could have gotten just as good results with a cheap
cut. That's what I love about a smoker. Turns lead into gold! I guess I'm
getting the hang of it. Smoking in the carport in a rain squall has got to
be some sort of test of your BBQ skills. Guess I'll wait for spring now.
